Robert Mennen rides the Budesliga Final in Bad Salzdetfurth

Mennen ends his German National Series Campaign declaring it a success.

In the final round of the German Bundesliga, Topeak Ergon’s Robert Mennen secured his fourth place in the overall classification with a respectable 8th place on the day. The race was hot, fast and dusty on the day “the leaders were really motoring today. I was pleased to be able to hold on to the top ten to take the eighth position, although it would have been nice to finished with a better position on the day.” Robert said of the race.

The day may not have brought him the result on the course that he wanted, but for the 24 year old it was enough to secure the fourth position in the German Bundesliga. That is no mean feat, and the good positions throughout the year now come together. When asked about the overall classification, it was obvious that Robert was extremely pleased “I worried during the race that I wouldn’t have enough points, but I am so pleased that I did have”.

All that remained from Robert was some praise for the organiser “It is a very professional job that they have done here. The atmosphere and the course itself. I am looking forward to next year.”
