Well, we hope you don’t run from the Chicago Police because you did something bad. But if you do, be prepared to be caught. The CPD is now outfitted with Ergon GR2’s on their patrol bikes. Let’s just say that the CPD has an edge up on crime now.  Book’em Dano!

We get lots of comments from non-Ergon users about the ‘wing’ on our grips taking away from being able to ride technical terrain. Well, with proper installation and ‘wing’ angle, the grip can actually enhance the riding of technical terrain. Below is a sampling from a  product testing session in Moab from this past weekend. This was 3 days of riding….for 17 hours of pedaling time.

We get lots of photos like the ones you will see below.  Many casual road riders are dumping their drop bars in favor of a flat bar…and Ergon grips!  Why you ask?  Simply for better control and comfort.  Plus, it looks pretty cool!

Just a reminder that drop bars are not always needed to race CX.  Up in Portland right now, going SS with a flat bar is all the rage…..as is adding the Ergon GE1 and GA1 grips.  Check out the photos!
